Dear Customers,

It is with great joy that I can announce the arrival of my twin son and daughter on June 27th.  Lily and Jet were premies and were unexpectedly born 2 months early which requires a bit more attention than if they would have stayed inside until the end of their term.  Now, after 18 straight years, I will be taking maternity leave and will not be able to offer a full schedule of classes for Fall 2008.

While ecstatic with becoming a new mom, it is with deeply mixed emotions that I must suspend group classes and private lessons during this time.  Art Classes For Kids is known for very high standards which I maintain with constant attention.  And I would not want to provide anything less than the quality our customers have come to expect.  The addition of new instructors also requires many hours of training and is not a feasible solution to my absence.  Your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated.  The staff and I look forward to returning with a new schedule in the Spring of 2009.  Please check the website or send an email to kim@artclassesforkids.com if you would like to be notified when the new schedule is available.

From all the teachers, we love what we do and will really miss classes for a few months.  We hope your children continue making great drawings, paintings and sculptures with the enthusiasm they bring to Art Classes For Kids.

Personally, I would like to thank all the parents and children who have made the past 18 years of teaching such a wonderful and fulfilling experience.  Thanks again for your understanding and patience.  See you in the Spring.
